Merzbow takes the junk of sound and transforms it into blistering noise assaults with an incredible spectrum and impact.
Investigate film as language, via the language of film reduced to the basic units of film and language. A film as text in which each frame is a single word.
We’ll be looking at decolonising ‘global mental health’. We’ll look at the concepts of decoloniality, of things being ‘culture bound’, and at hermeneutical injustice* as ways to examine dominator knowledge systems, and the institution of psych/iatry.
In this welcoming first session we will look at the basics of using plant medicine – things you might have in your kitchen or easily to hand. We will introduce preparation methods, contraindications, dosages & remedies for common ailments.

Watching films and chatting with Karrabing members about those films: as they attend to the memory and practice of the ancestral present and the ancestral catastrophe that Karrabing and their more-than-human world find themselves facing.
