Sunburned Hand of the Man
Sunburned Hand of the Man
What we wrote about them at the time:
Arguably the best live band in America today and the ringleaders of the ‘weird new America’ psych folk explosion. Their unique sound stirs in a slew of disparate ingredients: free jazz, motorik krautrock, often beautiful melodies and glimpses of seventies British folk. Their nine strong line-up uses instrumentation that ranges through guitar, intense drumming, flutes, congas, blades of grass, whistles, djembe, ‘mountain top leads’, ‘the looking glass’ and of course ‘the jazz’. This, their first live show outside the USA and featuring one-off film pieces and live theatre will be like no other band you have ever seen before.
