Kan Mikami playing guitar and singing at INSTAL 04

Kan Mikami

Kan Mikami

What we wrote at the time:

Much like a Delta shaman out invoking visions in a sultry dusk, with dogged, vulnerable cries, there’s a feel of a Blues magus about Mikami. With a voice that can vault from an elegantly whispered insinuation to asphyxiated and murderous barks or squalls in a heartbeat, and a strenuous, violent and probing electric guitar strum, he is responsible for some of the most politically charged, yet personal cuts of recent years. In addition to his performance with Vajra, Mikami will also offer up his first ever solo UK set at Instal.
