Emma Hart & Benedict Drew
Emma Hart & Benedict Drew
This collaboration shows a starkly beautiful and rigorous approach to sound and image. It’s is a beautiful piece, short and simply executed, full of billowing imagery. Ben Drew’s work takes in ideas of decay and entropy and picks out compellingly minimal, detailed landscapes of sound full of faltering half-rhythms, carefully constructed atrophy, somewhere in the horizon between noise and silence. Emma Hart is a visual artist whose recent experiments with film and moving image have been shown in Delhi, Amsterdam, Stockholm and London.
