Karrabing at ATLAS Arts

Conversations, screening and music – Locations across Skye and Lochalsh

As part of Karrabing’s visit to Scotland, the collective will be hosted for three days in the Isle of Skye by The School of Plural Futures.

The School of Plural Futures is an alternative school for young folk that live in Skye and Lochalsh. Started in 2021 by ATLAS Arts and artist Emmie McLuskey, the group works together to explore themes that relate to the climate crisis and it’s intersections with social justice including tradition, overtourism, housing, land ownership, Gaelic language, crofting, culture and community.

Whilst in Skye, Karrabing members Rex Sing, Aiden Sing, Keiran Sing, Elizabeth Povinelli & Benedict Scambary will be introduced to a host of local historians, activists, artists, musicians and crofters who respond, nurture and fight for their place and its culture.
