Ejrad is an experimental multidisciplinary research project exploring forms of Palestinian return that distort settler colonial timelines of dispossession. Through embodied and emergence methodologies, the diasporic Palestinian duo of Hajar Ibrahim and Masa Nazzal engage with sonic, archival, textile and photographic approaches, transforming research from modes of representation into acts of intervention.

The name, Ejrad (meaning bareness of land), is taken from the first month of Palestinian folk calendar as a time of the opening of rain. The collective invokes this de-colonial temporality, situating return in a continuous embodied present.
