We are looking for someone to join Arika and co-ordinate our Local Organisising work.

Over the past two years, Arika has deepened our existing relationships with local groups in Glasgow and made Local Organising an important part of what we do. This has involved asking our allies – important grass roots self-organised groups within migrant, sex worker and anti-poverty networks in Glasgow  – if there are any activities, projects

or events that they would like to see happen, but do not have the resources to organise on their own, and which Arika could help them to organise, using the resources we have access to. In response, over the last 18-months, we have worked on many collaborations with our allies in Glasgow, including: socials, skill shares, a language exchange, workshops, training sessions, self-care events and festivals. These have involved both private and public activities.

You can find out more about the role, the key responsibilties, how to apply alongside further context about Arika and the project in this document - http://bit.ly/AKLOrg

The deadline for applications is Wednesday 7th June with interviews taking place around the week beginning the 19th June.
